iPager

The problem: Apple uses old SMS tech when texting with Android – instead of RCS, which is an industry-standard adopted all over the world—creating a lot of issues, and branding those issues Android’s fault, like green text bubbles. The solution: in September 2023, when all eyes were on Apple, we introduced the iPager: a satirical product to educate people that highlighted Apple’s outdated tech. The result: after years of resisting the adoption of RCS, Apple publicly announced, just two months after the launch of the iPager, that they will finally adopt RCS in 2024.
